Welcome

Welcome to Transition Harborough a grass roots community lead environmental group tackling the issues of climate change and Peak Oil through a strategy of re-localisation of goods and services.

Forget the hum drum of lobbying and welcome to the empowerment of the community to sculpt its own destiny through its collective genius by revisioning the purpose of our settlement. Life and Transition should be a party.

Transition Harborough is the 22nd member of the Transition Network the fastest growing grass roots community since the CND and currently boasts over 300 initiatives worldwide with over 150 communities thinking about it.

Please feel free to look around our site and remember that the transition process is only limited by your enthusiasm and passion, its your community so get involved in any way you feel is relevant. If you feel passionate about something or just want to learn new skills then just sign up and let us know your thoughts.
